You can expect various changes including the way your invoices, estimates, records, and certificates look. Also expect to sign estimates and forms electronically on our signature pads and/or tablets. Medical records will be entirely electronic.
Going paperless allows us to more efficiently and expediently provide records to insurance companies and specialists. Communication will be more efficient with the ultimate goal of increasing patient care. Very few hospitals are 100% paperless and we will be one of them!
We will also urge you in the future to have your invoices/forms emailed instead of paper ones at the end of your visit. If you still want paper, we can do that too!
Unfortunately, our current automated reminder system (this email you see here along with our current text messages) will go away as we are switching software systems.
Any appointment created in our system before 6/12/2020 will still have reminders. These are queued up in advance so we cannot change or respond to any messages in the system.

We were “paper-lite” before, so old records will be ported over, but as we will not be able to edit anything in any medical record before June 13, 2020, record requests may experience a slight delay as we reconcile the old system, new system, and the old paper records.
Our new reminder system will allow two-way texting capability and a free app (both android and IOS) so you request for prescription refills and appointments with 1 swipe. It is called Idexx Pet Health Network Pro. This should be live by the end of June (possibly sooner, we will update you!
This will be the last manual communication we send with our old system; everything else is automated.
